He also thanked the builder Mr Tony Helleren of Co-Design Construction and his sub-contractors for being so flexable with working in with the community.  The new building was made possible through the generosity of the people of Australia & overseas who gave to the Black Saturday Bushfire Appeal.,The Southern end of the Murrindindi Valley was hit very hard during the bushfires with a loss of 9 homes, businesses, livestock, flora & fauna The Murrindindi-Woodbourne Community Hub Inc., project managed the building which was a huge advantage in achieving this wonderful outcome, having no project management fees meant more money for the building and also having specialist work such as legal, surveying, some building, accountancy all being done pro-bono helped in this area as well.  The new building has an office, male & female toilets, disabled toilet & shower, commercial kitchen, open fireplace in the main room and a large balcony which has a BBQ & pizza oven in a lockable area.  All this overlooks the beautiful Murrindindi River, landscaped gardens and a lush grassed area.  The community has already held many functions in the building and the building is open on the first friday of every month for drinks and a mystery light dinner.(The building is licensed) Coming up soon is a "Back to Murrindindi" day which has already had a huge response and numbers are growing by the day.
