DONATION - A Cello has been offered as a donation from a woman relocating to Sydney for someone affected by the bushfires last year.
COMMUNITY REQUEST - The Murrindindi shire have comissioned photojournalists to interview and photograph 40 residents of the shire who are aged 55 and above, who had experiences
of the Black Saturday fires. The aim is to create a body of work which will portray a "positive aging" message, as well as allow residents to share their experiences of the fires. The resulting work will be exhibited in early May 2010..

NEWS: The Victorian Bushfire Reconstruction and Recovery Authority Melba Community Recovery Plan has been posted on the website.
COMMUNITY EVENT: The Murrindindi-Woodbourne CFA fire-ready meeting and Christmas Dinner photos have been posted to the Woodbourne site.
NEWS: The Melba CRC recently presented the Community Plan to Council and VBRRA including an application for the Murrindindi-Woodbourne Meeting Room. Click on more information to review the plan and application.
NEWS: The Murrindindi-Woodbourne CFA pre-season meeting was held before Christmas and was very well attended. The meeting was followed by a community session, see more information for further details and photos.

COMMUNITY REQUEST The ABC are creating a documentary about Black Saturday. There will be a video montage of those lost in the fires and have contacted our website to request people send in photos.
COMMUNITY REQUEST- Chris, a student from the University of NSW is asking for contributions from the community to his thesis on post disaster planning.
GRANT Project Hope Horse Welfare Victoria Inc. announces horse feed grant for 2009 Victorian Bushfire Victims
